The purpose of this study is to provide data required for the formulation of medical technologists¢¥ manpower planning, as a part of overall medical manpower planning.
1. In 198 there were 19 educational institution with 18, 394 graduates that year, and a total of 6,46-1 licensed medical technologists.
2. By the year 2, 000 a) the number of medical technologists in is expected to reach 38, 232 b) in de.-nz-d is expected to be 10, 200 c) the number of suppiy excess is expected to reach 28.03?.
Therefo-e effective supply and demand of medical technologists can be accomplihshed with proper legislation, higher quality of education, control of educational training and development of a department of employment for medical technology.
